Emily Duron has been the Family Consumer Science teacher at Stacey Junior/Senior High since 2005. She grew up in Fredericksburg, Texas, a small town not to far from San Antonio. After High School graduation, Emily attended Texas Tech University and received a degree in Fashion Design and her teaching certification. Emily taught at Pease Middle School in the Northside District for 9 1/2 years and has been at Stacey for 7 years.

Family Consumer Sciences includes many topics within the Human Services Career Cluster and a few other clusters.  Mrs. Duron uses blended learning in the classroom which is a combination of online learning and traditional teaching.
